Forecast, our senior herd sire, is Homozygous Black, solid pattern
and polled. There are very few bulls in the Maine breed that are
Homozygous for all three traits. Forecast sons have topped our last 3
sales, including: “First Warning” now owned by Rosankey Cattle Co.
Rosankey, TX; and “First Alert” owned by Greg Hammer and Wyn Johnson
of Baltic, SD. The daughters in production are outstanding females and
those in this year's replacement pen are as good as you’ll find.
Forecast progeny have a superb head structure, attractive profiles and
are loaded with muscle. Scan data for REA and marbling is right up
there with Wide Track progeny. Forecast progeny from the National Sire
Test were Choice in 2004. Semen available. |

| Wide Track
is still my favorite Bull to use because of his ability to add rib
dimension, muscle mass, performance and outstanding carcass traits.
His first set of daughters in production are excellent far exceeding
their milk EPD numbers. We are extremely excited about our Junior herd
sire “Right Track” a polled version along with “Wide Load” a polled
full brother sold last year to John & Karen Haymaker, Hennesey, OK. |

| A Bull used
for several years in the heifer program and still do, for calving ease
and performance. Icon is extremely smooth made about his head, neck,
and shoulders. His progeny possess excellent growth, eye appeal and
muscling. The last 2 years we’ve geared him more towards Angus cows to
increase body capacity and the results are incredible what a set of
replacement heifers and Mainetainer Bulls. |

We used Jazz last year
to provide a different blood line for our customers. Jazz has
more of a show calf look and the added bonus of hair quality.
Most of you know I don’t breed or talk much about hair quality.
I know the importance, our Bulls have it, and I think there is
more important traits to emphasize! |
